HEY.

I'm Hendrik, a freelance illustrator based in Hamburg, Germany.

With my illustrations I make complex topics accessible by using visual metaphors to highlight their core ideas. Before studying illustration at HAW Hamburg I worked for several years as a graphic designer.

My work has appeared in publications such as The New Statesman, Courrier International, The Harvard Gazette, Chemistry World, Resolver Magazine, Audit and Beyond, Which? Magazine, Chartech Magazine, BRisk Magazine, Biomedical Scientist Magazine, Personal Finance Professional and others.

In 2022, I was shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards 2022 in the Editorial category.
